1. Agreement

By accessing or using inboxes ("the Service"), operated by inboxes.net ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Inboxes is an email client that connects to your Resend account via your API key. We provide inbox management, email composition, team collaboration, and related features. Your email data is stored and managed by Resend — we access it on your behalf through the Resend API. We do not provide email sending or receiving infrastructure.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Your Resend API Key

• You provide your own Resend API key to connect the Service to your Resend account.
• We make reasonable efforts to protect your API key, including encryption at rest.
• You are solely responsible for the permissions, scope, and security of your API key.
• We are not responsible for any actions taken through your Resend account via the API key you provide.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk email.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

6. Payment and Billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Data

Your email data lives in Resend. We access and display it on your behalf through the Resend API. We may cache or store data locally to provide the Service (threading, search, etc.), but Resend remains the source of truth for your email content.

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the integrity of locally stored data, but the Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or inconsistencies.

8. Service Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third-party providers including Resend and Stripe, whose availability is outside our control. This is open-source software and may contain bugs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, inboxes.net shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Termination

• You may close your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.
