Inboxes is operated by inboxes.net. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the Service. We keep it simple because the Service is simple: we connect to your Resend account and display your emails.

2. What We Collect

• Account information you provide (name, email, password).
• Your Resend API key, which we store encrypted.
• Email data accessed through the Resend API on your behalf. Your emails live in Resend — we cache and index them locally to provide features like threading and search.
• Basic server logs for operational purposes.
• Payment information is handled by Stripe. We do not store payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the Service — displaying your emails, sending emails on your behalf through Resend, managing your account, and processing payments.

4. Third Parties

We may share information with third-party services as necessary to operate and improve the Service. This currently includes Resend (email infrastructure) and Stripe (payments), but may include other service providers in the future.

5. Data Storage and Security

We make reasonable, best-effort attempts to protect your data, including encrypting your API key at rest and using secure authentication. However, the Service is provided on a best-effort basis. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your email data ultimately lives in Resend, not with us. We cache and index it locally to provide the Service, but Resend is the authoritative source. If you revoke your API key or delete your Resend account, we lose access to your email data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we make reasonable efforts to remove your data from our systems. Some data may persist in backups or logs for a limited period.

7. Your Choices

• You can delete your account at any time.
• You can revoke your Resend API key at any time to cut off our access to your email data.
• You can configure privacy features in the app (tracking parameter stripping, external image blocking).

8. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication and to detect logged-in users on our marketing site.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
